Project Title

FADING FLAVORS: Karachi's Dystopian Dilemma

Description

This paper examines the ramifications of climate change-induced food security in Pakistan's largest city, Karachi. The study also seeks to understand how distinct genders may be affected by the looming food insecurity. Moreover, the research aims to understand the potential repercussions on the social stability of the city, emphasizing the intricate interplay between climate change's impact on food security and broader societal dynamics. In retrospect, Fading Flavors hopes to contribute to the growing discourse about the future of Karachi's food availability. In a city where millions are hanging on by a fragile thread, this research has the potential to spark critical conversation among people, offering insights into the complex layers of a subject that is often taken for granted.
